HYRIS bCUBETM is designed to be used with special disposable cartridges supplied by Hyris S.r.l. The main features of the cartridges are shown in the picture and in the schematic section reported below.
The disposable cartridges are composed of an Aluminum Vessel with through holes that forming the Reaction Wells. These holes are sealed by the Polypropylene Housing, which contains the aluminum part. The transparent Polypropylene Housing bottom allows optical fluorescence detection from below the cartridge.
After the Reaction Mix and samples loading in the Reaction Wells, the top of the cartridge has to be sealed with one pre-cut Black Aluminum Adhesive Foil supplied by Hyris S.r.l.
